Installation video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg5pKGL2AmU

Question: I am experiencing noise in the speakers when the radio is not muted. Is there a solution to fix this?

Answer: Please check the attached picture here. The main power/audio harness has an audio filter. Please move the plug from A to B and check again.

The password for the factory setting is 1912 However, you DO NOT need to make any changes in the factory settings and the radio may not work correctly if you change the settings incorrectly.

The reboot  of the unit is here

1. I assume RR, RL, FR, FL are the options to attach to an external amplifier?

Yes.

2. What is the Grey, black & blue connector for?

You do not need to use it.

3. Should the end of this connector be taped off since the 3 pins are exposed?

Yes, that will be fine.

4. There is a Brown cable with label "Back" what is this cable use for?

Reverse trigger wire for an aftermarket backup camera if the car has a manual transmission. Not need to use if the car has auto transmission.

5. There is a red cable with label "ACC. I assume this will provide Power when key at ACC ?

Yes.

6. Should I tape the end of this cable to prevent a short circuit?

Yes, that will be fine.

7. The USB cable shows as Carplay, I thought I had purchased one with wireless carplay, is this not the case?

Ignore the label, and this unit supports wireless carplay.

8.  Can this cable be used for Android Auto as well?

Ignore the label, and this unit supports wireless Android auto.

9. Currently on my mini vehicle there is a built-in subwoofer I would assume the subwoofer will still be functional.

Yes.

On the cable that connected to socket with label 360

10. There is Green connector with label USB but it is circle connector, is this an option for additional USB connector?

It is the adapter to retain the factory USB port.

11.  There are 4 circular connector with Yellow, Blue, Black and Green color and inside I can see there is a very small 4 pins. What are these connections for?

They are used to install an aftermarket 360 panoramic system.

12. From the yellow connector that is a red cable, should the end be tape out to prevent short circuit?

Yes, that will be fine.

o   There are 2 long strips that connect to back of unit using screw:

13. what kind of antenna are these?

The two flat antennas.

14. where is the best place to install this antenna?Inside the dashboard, under dashboard, etc?

Put it on the dashboard to get good reception.

In the sunroof control panel.

18. I assume these mic are for making phone call and for apple Siri?

Yes.

19. If I do not install the mic will that hinder the ability to make hands free phone call?

Yes. Another end will not hear you at all.

1. How can I change the units from KPH to MPG? In the settings for units it only gives me an option for L/kph and kph/L.

Which unit do you want to change? Can you take a photo?

2. The tachometer lights on the new head unit is different colors and does not go all the way around. The lights stop half way only for tachometer lighting. How can I change it so it goes all the way around and can I change the colors back to its original color as on the original head unit?

3. The environmental lighting does not seem to be working on the new head unit. In the settings menu I have it turned on, however, whenever I change the color of environmental lighting nothing shows up on the new head unit.

You can not control the ambient lighting color on the new unit. It shows different colors while the car makes different actions, for example, accelerating, braking, turning turn signal, etc.

4. My FM radio is not working. I see the cable for FM radio but it does not plug into anything from the original cable set that I unplugged from.

The antenna with the black fakra plug is the FM/AM antenna. Please check the 02:29 from the installation video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiCl3HuWvps

We also can't figure out how to assign FM stations to the physical preset buttons.  We can scan and set favorites, but can't assign those presets.  I'm sure we're missing something obvious, but we can't figure it out.

You can not assign the FM stations to the physical preset buttons. However, if you touch the "search" icon on the FM screen, it will search and store FM stations automatically and you can select them through the 1-6 physical buttons.

There is a weak buzzing/static noise coming out from the small speaker behind the new screen. Not the car speakers. Video here

Question: After watching the SCP installation video I have this extra plug they don't have in their mini which I could not find a spot for. It's a small black three-hole plug. I will include a picture of the plug and where it was in the original head unit.

Answer: It is the power plug for the original ambient lighting ring. Our radio has a built-in ambient lighting ring and you do not need to use this cable.

The fuel consumption unit can not be changed at this moment. Future firmware updates may fix this issue.

Time setup: You may have noticed that the time displayed on the radio is inaccurate when you start the car next time. This is because the Android system completely shuts down after you turn off the vehicle, and the time stops. However, I want to assure you that the radio is designed to calibrate the time automatically once it gets a GPS signal or internet connection. Therefore, you do not need to adjust it manually. Depending on the weather, the radio can usually get the GPS signal within 30 seconds to two minutes. It receives the GPS signal quickly on sunny days and gets the GPS signal slowly on rainy or cloudy days.

Not compatible?

I've received the new head unit and am watching the video but my setup looks a bit different behind the screen.  Is there another video or instructions for the setup shown in the attached picture? Original radio photo here.
Answer: Please note that the radio shown in the installation video is an all-in-one unit without a separate screen. Your vehicle uses a separate display and head unit, so you only need to remove the original display and the original head unit first.Other than that, all remaining installation steps are the same as shown in the video.
