1. Installation:

Short 2x blue does not have 12v. You do not need to use the two blue short wires.

BOSE amplifier (Pink has 12v in it). If the pink wire is 12V, it should produce sound. Please disconnect the battery's negative wire and reconnect it after 10 minutes, then check again.

2. Hazard button:

Emergency signal lights don´t work, and no cable plug-in car fits into that signal light cable socket.
Answer: The 8-pin black plug connects to the original emergency button harness. If you can not find it. Can you take photos showing all plugs from the FACTORY RADIO/PANEL removed from your car? We will check it.

3. Factory backup camera:

Please check Setup>Reverse and AUX>Reversing camera system>NTSC. Backcar type>Original car reversing.

Please check Settings>Reverse and AUX>Reversing camera system>Try every option and check the camera video.

Customer feedback: I got the reverse camera working by changing the settings into CVBS N

1. The backup camera doesn´t work. when I put the reverse gear on, it shows a white screen and says "No signal". There are 3 cables on the camera plug (one is power +12V, which I don´t know where they should be connected.
Answer: Please check the picture here. Did you connect the camera adapter to the original car harness?
You do not need to use all three cables on the camera plug.

MR-2807: I haven't installed the camera. How do I avoid the system going to grey screen in reverse?
Please check the attached pinout. Cut the "BACK" reverse detection wire. If you want to install a camera, you need to reconnect the "BACK" wire.

4. Cannot connect to Wifi:

When I tried to connect the car stereo to my mobile phone hotspot, It opened a white screen car stereo "jams". I cannot insert Wifi password; there is no field to write the password. The screen stays white and none of the buttons work, When I press the Home button, the screen blinks once and gets jammed.
4. Navigator Problem. Same as with a Wifi password. When I try to insert the write into the address field, there is no keyboard, only a white screen.
Answer: Can you take a short video? Can you check the Android app settings, maybe the input method app is disabled.

5. No Power at all:

1. Please check the attached picture. You can unplug the CANBUS decoder. Connect the "ACC" wire to the positive wire of the cigarette lighter or the "ACC" fuse.

2. Please set up the left six buttons through Settings>Common>Keys and Learing>SteeringWheel Keys learn. Click the feature on the screen first, then press the button you want to use. Save and check again. Please check the attached instructions.

3. Please check the attached video on how to connect the original button cable to the new radio.

The CAN BUS decoder works in the US market but seems incompatible in Australia and European countries.

System shutting down / not powering on?
Does the unit shut down automatically when the engine is on, or does this happen when the engine is off?
Have you tried starting the engine and observed whether the unit still shuts down by itself? Additionally, have you measured the vehicle battery voltage? An aged or weak battery may cause this kind of behavior.

6. SWC not working:

Please check Setting>Common>Key to learn>Steeringwheel keys learn>then setup the steering wheel control buttons.

We’ve unplugged the CAN BUS Decoder, given the stereo ACC power and everything is working apart from the steering wheel controls (we have the left six factory buttons working and programmed).
Answer: Please check the attached pictures. Take apart the CANBUS decoder and check the board. If it is green, then remove the resistances as shown in the "Green board.png". If it is blue, then remove the resistances as shown in the "Blue board.png". Then connect the CANBUS decoder to the harness to check if the radio works well(steering wheel control works and no warning light).

7. PARK OFF, SPORT, ICE buttons

PARK OFF button activates SPORT mode 3. SPORT button activates ICE mode 4. ICE button activates PARK OFF. You undertook to check these with the manufacturer - have you had feedback yet? If they are not hardware/firmware issues, are there perhaps some settings that RR could change locally?
Answer: This issue can not be fixed at the moment. Please check the attached picture. The Maserati Quattroporte vehicle model may have a unique radio system in different countries, and the positions of the buttons are not the same. Unfortunately, due to the older model year of the Maserati Quattroporte vehicle, it is increasingly difficult for us to source specific vehicles for button debugging.

Question: The sport mode and the anti-skid button stopped working. The door lock and the rear shade work.
Answer: the six buttons on the left can be learned from the new radio. The eight buttons on the right retain the original features. However, the actual features may not match the letters on the buttons because the factory radios have several different button combinations. Please try all the other buttons on the right.

8. Navigation distance units:

NAVIGATION (audio conflict/distance setting Both items are still outstanding. I tried to resolve these as per your instructions but didn't get very far. See below what happened.
Answer: Please check the attached video on how to change the distance unit.

9. Blank Screen:

I accessed the settings/factory area per your email but only got part way through when the system started beeping repeatedly. I could neither get it to stop nor access the settings in your instructions so I turned off the engine and then turned it back on again to try to clear it. However, on engine restart, nothing came up - a completely blank screen and no Bluetooth/ phone connection or reverse camera. So now nothing works at all in fact.

Normally one would expect a consumer service like this to have a failsafe/ automatic restart function. Perhaps it is not set up as such? If not, is there an on / off / restart/reboot switch that is accessible on the device that would re-activate the system? As it appears to be dead, I can't check anything else, so I am hoping that you will be able to respond urgently with some advice before I take it back to RR.
Answer: Please unplug the ground wire of the battery and plug it again after 10 minutes. Then check again.

10. TELEPHONE:

You have successfully connected the phone for voice, but not for data. Neither the Contacts / Favourites nor Call Log will upload, so I cannot make a call without keying in every number.
Answer: To download the contacts from the phone. You must enable the "SYNC contact" feature. Here is a video FYI:

11. NAVIGATION:

a)Audio for map and radio overlap/conflict (they both play over each other at the same time and same volume). They can't be separated (i.e. if you turn off the radio, it also turns off navigation) so it's either both together or nothing. They need to be separately controllable, please.
Answer: Please check Settings>Factory>Input the password 8888>Sound balance, you can adjust the volume level of the NAVI and other apps separately.

b) The Navigation distance is set incorrectly (miles vs. km).
Answer: You can change the distance unit after entering the Sygic app>Settings>View & Units>Distance units>Select metric or imperial.

Q: How to load a Google map into the system's navigation. How do I download this data into the system for use with the included GPS app?
This radio runs an Android system. You can connect the radio system to Wi-Fi or phone's hotspot, then download the Google maps through the "Play Store" app.

12. Clock:

All 3 clocks (new system, dash, and analog) show the same incorrect time.
Answer: The new system's time is unrelated to the dash and analog clocks. You may have noticed that the time displayed on the new radio is inaccurate when you start the car next time. This is because the Android system completely shuts down after you turn off the vehicle, and the time stops. However, I want to assure you that the radio is designed to calibrate the time automatically once it gets a GPS signal or internet connection. Therefore, you do not need to adjust it manually. Depending on the weather, the radio can usually get the GPS signal within 30 seconds to two minutes. It receives the GPS signal quickly on sunny days and gets the GPS signal slowly on rainy or cloudy days.

13. CANBUS not working:

In some E.U countries and Australia, the Maserati CANBUS is different. You must connect a couple of wires manually and remove the canbus decoder. The wires are as follows,

You must cut the red ACC wire from the canbus (photo here)and connect it to the ACC wire in the fuse box.
If the left side buttons are not illuminating (photo here), please connect the Orange ILL+ wire (photo here)to the Illumination wire of the car or the Red ACC.

14. LOGO:

Startup logo: It needs to install an app to set up the logo.

15. Another language in cluster meter.

1. Please check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>Car settings>Language Settings>English. If it doesn’t work, change it to another language and back to English.

You can change the instrument cluster language using the turn signal lever.

16. US metrics:

1. Can’t seem to change this to miles
Answer: Please check the "CarInfo" app>display>unit>Select US system.

2. When you press sync it doesn’t work
Answer: Please check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>original car set>Vehicle personalization>Air Conditioner Switch>Disable. Then check again.

MR-3960. How can I change Air conditioning system from Celcius to Fahrenheit?
Please check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>Original car set>Unit Set>Temp Unit.

MR-3960. How can I change from Kilometers to Miles?
Please check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>Original car set>Unit Set>Measure Unit.

17. NO SOUND:

If the car has a BOSE Sound system, please check if the pink wire has 12v+ in it. If not, please connect ACC+ red wire Or short blue AMP wake up to the pink wire.

MR-2801 No sound: please have a look at the attached picture. Cut the blue wire on the adapter and bridge it to the orange wire, then try again.

MR-2803: 1. There is a "SOUND" app. Please check if the Fader is set up and ensure it is selected "Full." 2. Please check the attached picture. Ensure that item 7 is connected to the original car harness removed from the original button. Please take a look at the attached picture. Can you bridge these two wires together and recheck the sound?

18. AC/Climate control:

Question: Climate control doesn't work on the screen, it works through the buttons on the car.
Answer: If the car is too old, the screen does not control the A/C. The vehicle does not send data to the screen through the canbus decoder.

Regarding the OEM Settings app not responding, this is normal behavior.
These functions are designed for newer vehicle models. For older models, the original vehicle system does not support these features, so tapping the options in the OEM Settings app will not trigger any response.This does not affect the normal operation of the head unit. Please feel free to use the system as usual.

MR-2802: Climate control not responding? The screen only displays the status information of the climate control system.
You need to use the physical buttons in the vehicle to operate the A/C system, not the touchscreen. This is normal behavior.

MR-2805: AC temp goes to max or minimum: Check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>Change model>MRW>-MRW-2801.

Please turn off the A/C information on the radio screen. Please check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>Original car set>Air Conditioner Switch>OFF.

MR-3960: After replacing the aftermarket A/C control panel, the temperature control behavior can be slightly different from the factory system. If the system can produce both hot and cold air normally, then the climate control itself is working properly. In this case, the temperature numbers may not match the original calibration exactly (for example, needing to set 25°C to feel like 21°C). This is normal and not a fault—it's due to differences in how the aftermarket panel interprets and displays temperature values. There is no manual recalibration function available for this type of unit. The system relies on its internal mapping rather than true ambient temperature calibration. If you notice any of the following, then it may indicate a separate issue: No hot air even at maximum temperature No cold air when set to low temperature Temperature does not change at all when adjusting Otherwise, if heating and cooling both respond correctly, the unit is functioning as expected.

18. Radio side buttons have no light:

Please connect the ILL+ wire to the car’s Orange ILL+ wire.
Left side buttons still not working?
Make sure 1 and 2 are correctly connected. Photo here.
Make sure the 3 and 4 are connected to the original car harness, which was removed from the original eight buttons.

19. RESET/Reboot:

it does not have a physical reset button. however, there is a restart icon in the top bar when you slide the screen from top to bottom.

20. Disable Door sound:

How to disable sound when doors are open?
Answer: Please check Settings>Factory>>input password 8888>original car set>Car Settings>Open door alarm sound>OFF.

How can I turn off or greatly lower the volume of the warning alarms?
Please check Settings>Factory>input password 8888>Original car set>Radar alarm volume.

21. Factory camera not working, No sound

No backup camera: Please connect 1 and 2. Picture here.

No sound and system not programmed error message: Please DO NOT use item 3 and connect 4 directly to the original car harness. Picture here.

The factory backup camera is distorted. The new screen is much larger than the original, and the resolution is also different. As a result, the OEM camera image gets stretched and distorted, causing an abnormal display. We recommend installing an aftermarket camera with an AHD signal; the picture is much better and clearer than that of the factory camera.

22. Loud noise of beeping when car door is open?

23. Apple Carplay/Android auto:

MR-2802: This product only supports wireless carplay. It does not support wired carplay.

24. Left panel Keys not working:

Please check the attached instructions. Please note that you must click "Steering wheel keys learn" instead of "Panel key learning." Video link here.

25. FM radio reception:

Please refer to the attached picture. Measure the voltage at the FM antenna adapter and confirm that it is receiving +12V correctly.

26. Microphone: MR-2810

Question: Is there anything I can do about the mic. All the people I talk to say the voice is terrible.

Answer: Please check Settings>Sound>Bluetooth volume>MIC gain>Adjust it to higher and check again.
