Please make sure your car has aux function and the aux is working well, because the sound should be transferred from our unit to your car speakers through your car’s aux function. You can switch between new Android menu and your original menu on one screen.

In order to get power and car original system to the new screen, there’s a power adapter cable included, it’s compatible with the factory wiring harness.

How to activate Audi Q3 AUX function?

Before you buy the Audi Q3 Android head unit, make sure your car has AUX function, you need to find your Audi Q3 aux location, see this photo:

This is the AUX connector in the armrest, check your armrest to see if your Q3 has it.

Aux is very important, because the music sound from USB and SD will be transferred through factory Aux mode, make sure your car has Aux function and Aux works well before any purchase.

You will need a Aux cable to connect this connector, not the USB or iPod cable, only Aux cable works, see this photo:

The above 2 AUX cables work to activate factory AUX function, while the below cable doesn’t work.

Notes before installation

Please check the appearance and the unit functions before install the unit.
Don’t shorten or extend the GPS antenna, that will lead to the antenna problem
Don’t make the GPS antenna winding the steering wheel and shift lever, that’s dangerous
Don’t use strong chemicals, cleaning agents to washing the machine
Please use a clean soft fabric to wipe the screen
Please don’t self-service, maintenance or install the unit if you are not professional, if the power is on, don’t install or repair the unit.
Please protect the original display when the staff dismounting the original CD and keep it, try to use the original screw.
Navigation and rear-view camera(if you choose it) only do auxiliary function, it can’t replace your attention and judgment.
